Kernersville, also known as Yourville, is getting ready for the holidays. We hope you will join us in November to kickoff shopping local. There is plenty to do for everyone, including visiting the museum, eating and shopping.
Shopping, eating and enjoying local offerings has its perks. There is less time spent travelling which saves time that can be better used to enjoy your experience. It provides opportunities to find those things that are unique to our community such as handmade goods, farm-raised food and supporting businesses that are dedicated to the place we call home.
Spending your time, money and talents in your community benefits everyone. Take the time to visit each business, restaurant and others that are committed to the success of Kernersville. Supporting local business is imperative to the success of our community. “If Kernersville doesn’t have it, you don’t need it”, we hear this all the time in our community. When stepping back and looking from the outside in, this is absolutely true.
Spend all day in Kernersville enjoying the sounds of the season and picking up a little bit of home for those on your Christmas list. Let’s be honest, we all have had that joyful moment of finding the perfect item for the person you have been looking to buy for.

November 24th: Holiday Open House 3-7 PM
Santa is coming to town. He is coming to the Kernersville Museum to be exact! Bring the family for a fun-filled afternoon and evening to shop and take advantage of some great “Black Friday” sales. Do not forget all of the delicious dining options available, plus take the opportunity to enjoy the night life while you are at it!
November 25th: Shop Small Saturday
Kernersville is proud to announce that it is a #ShopSmall Champion once again! American Express encourages supporting the small businesses in the community and exploring the neighborhood. Kernersville will be adorned with shopping bags, welcome mats, and more!
