It is always a great day in Kernersville. Why not connect with a group of people that work hard, enjoy giving back and have fun!

The Young Professionals Network (YPN) is a group of professionals that work together for the betterment of their community. Anyone can attend who is a “young” professional, whether you are in your 20’s just starting out or beginning a new career, this group is for you. They build relationships while making a difference and providing a way to connect with others like yourself.

 
Each month the Young Professionals do something. It may be a networking event, a seminar or a project for a group in our community. The group is led by an Advisory Committee that allows its members to have input on what they would like to do.

From seminars on house buying to Corn Hole Tournaments that benefit Crisis Control, there is always something to learn from being a Young Professional. Those in the group even get together when it is not a scheduled event.

Top 3 reasons to be a part of the YPN:
• Opportunity to meet new people through monthly events at local businesses.
• Fun, laid back atmosphere.
• Volunteering with local organizations.

Even if you do not have a lot of time, there is always an opportunity to meet others. This is a great way to meet and get better acquainted with those that may be a good connection for business and friendship.

One of the events that YPN participates in is decorating Körner’s Folly for Christmas. Each year, they turn the cellar into a magical Christmas room for the entire community to enjoy while spending an evening taking a candlelight tour through the beautiful house museum.

Coming up on October 18, join YPN at The Cork’s n’ Candidates event on at the Brewer’s Kettle. It promises to be fun and informative. Our Kernersville elected officials enjoy coming out to talk to those in attendance. There is no better chance to get to know each other. It is a great opportunity to learn more about your town and meet new friends in a relaxed atmosphere.

Young Professionals Network is a great way to stay involved in your community. With Kernersville growing at a perfect rate, why not take the time to grow with it?
