Kernersville is the place to be any time of year. With Downtown Sidewalk Saturdays every month, why not head on out and enjoy what our beautiful community has to offer?
Downtown Sidewalk Saturdays, the second Saturday of the month in June, July, August, September, and October are always a great time. The shops are bustling with people and you are sure to find that perfect item. Buy an early Christmas gift or get something for yourself. With such a diverse offering of merchandise and products you cannot go wrong. The Museum has an amazing exhibit inside and do not forget to stop by the authentic tobacco barn. Körner’s Folly is doing tours and the Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden is painted with color!
The Cruise In starts at 4PM on the second Saturday so you might as well stay for the day. Classic cars from all decades are on display. Owners are available for questions and to reminisce about a time when the car brings back a fond memory. Grab something to eat, browse through a shop and enjoy the classic cars.
Founders Park is new this year. The serene waterfall, fish pond, and benches are a welcoming site to enjoy. The fish are always happy to be fed with the food supplied. The bridge is a great place to stand for pictures and to enjoy the view of the pond.
There is plenty to choose from to eat and enjoy in Kernersville. Sandwiches, burgers, sit-down dinners, desserts and more; you won’t leave hungry.
