Over the centuries, the definition of beauty has changed many times. Trends in makeup, hairstyles, clothing, and even brow thickness can change so fast that it can be overwhelming just trying to keep up with the times. One fact, however, remains constant: confidence is beautiful.
The team at Ageless in the Triad have made it their goal to provide services that will help to create a beautiful, more confident you. When you walk into Ageless in the Triad, you cannot help but notice the glowing skin and smiling faces of the staff. “We want to make people feel more beautiful, make them feel more like themselves,” says Nurse Practitioner Avery Carrigan. “We don’t want to change the way they look or make people say ‘oh you have had something done.’ We want it to look natural, but maybe turn back the clock a few years.”
Ageless in the Triad is an integrated Oral and Facial Surgery practice and Med Spa that offers a plethora of treatments and services to fulfill your every need when it comes to skin care. One of the newest services available at Ageless of the Triad is their Sciton Aesthetic and Medical Laser machine. This machine uses Broad Band Light (BBL) to correct skin pigment, reduce pore size and redness, and keep skin looking younger. BBL can even be used to treat acne, with their Forever Clear acne therapy. Ageless in the Triad’s own front desk receptionist, Tori, has experienced great results from the Forever Clear BBL treatment. “I’ve had cystic acne, so it really helps to bring that soreness down and overall it helped my redness and my inflammation,” Tori says, noting that the procedure was nearly painless and produced amazing results after only three treatments. “I was very self-conscious about my acne, always wearing makeup, and that made it worse because it clogs your pores,” says Tori, “now I don’t wear makeup on a daily basis anymore. It’s awesome.”
Helping people of all ages with acne treatment has personal meaning to Avery, as she cites it as one of the reasons she chose to pursue a career in skin care. “I’ve always been interested in skin care and going into the skin business because I had acne as a teenager,” Avery says, “I know how hard it can be, and the stress of it all makes it worse.”
Another function of the Sciton Laser is the HALO treatment. Hailed as the world’s first hybrid fractional laser, HALO uses a mixture of ablative and non-ablative wavelengths to produce greater results while at the same time reducing patient downtime and discomfort. This means different lasers work on different levels to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles, reduce pore size, and reverse discoloration and skin laxity, all while creating the least amount of disruption possible to your daily life. HALO can also help to build collagen under the skin over time, making skin look younger and healthier.
Being owned and operated by Dr. Teresa Biggerstaff, a board certified oral and facial surgeon and fellowship trained facial cosmetic surgeon, sets Ageless apart from other medical spas that are often owned by corporations or non-surgeon physicians. This allows Ageless in the Triad to offer such a broad range of surgical and non-surgical services to their clients. Long-time customer Wendy says, “Dr. B. Not only stands for Biggerstaff, but also stands for the best! Whether it is oral and facial surgery or her aestheticians and cosmetologists making you look your best, I trust Dr. Biggerstaff’s team with all my implants, injections, and for all my cosmetic needs.”
Maybe you are thinking that a med spa does not have anything that would apply to your needs and your lifestyle. In reality, Ageless in the Triad has services for all ages and stages of skin. Both men and women regularly visit for hair removal services, injections, skin treatments, and
massage therapy. People of all ages can benefit from personally tailored massages and body treatments. Cindy, who has been a customer of Ageless in the Triad since it first opened four years ago, says she appreciates the friendly and knowledgeable staff. “They go out of their way to make customer service a priority,” she says. “My massage therapist is wonderful and knows exactly what I need to keep me active.”
Customer care at Ageless in the Triad goes far beyond treatments. The staff are passionate about educating their clients on skin care and overall health and making sure that each client’s experience is tailored to their specific needs. They carefully select products and treatments that will work with the client’s unique situation, taking into account the various ingredients and methods available and what the client wants to achieve. They also do their best to work around busy schedules. Ageless is open until seven o’clock on weekdays, and from nine to three on Saturdays, for your convenience.
For the staff at Ageless in the Triad, beauty is more than skin deep. This is evidenced by their investment in local charities and community events. Ageless participates in the annual Women’s Only 5k Walk and Run, Lung Cancer Initiative’s Lunge Forward 5k, and supports the Junior League in Greensboro. They have also been involved in Take a Seat for Charity, which raises awareness for a local domestic violence shelter, and the Big Hair Ball for family services in Greensboro.
If you want to make your skin a priority in 2020, look no further than Ageless in the Triad.
