Ladies, have you ever wanted to be a part of something bigger? Ever wanted to invest in yourself spiritually but have not known how? IF: Kernersville is here!!

IF: Kernersville is a dynamic Christian conference for women that will be held at Reynolda Church (367 Bodenhamer St.) on March 3 and 4. This is a community event wherein women from many different churches come together for a Friday evening and Saturday of passionate worship, excellent Bible teaching, and life-giving community.

Jennie Allen held the first IF:Gathering in 2014 in Austin, Texas. She was inspired to gather women for worship, teaching, and connection as she considered the question, “If God is real, then what?” Over the years, IF has grown into a large and effective ministry that has reached over a million women in 179 countries. Their aim is to disciple a generation of women who will then disciple others by providing fantastic resources and equipping for women to employ in their local churches and spheres of influence.

Last year women from twenty-three churches gathered for the most momentous IF:Kernersville conference yet! The room was packed with a sold-out crowd that laughed, deepened friendships, renewed their hope in the Lord, and heard the good news of God’s grace. Women of all ages and backgrounds came to enjoy a diversity of speakers provided virtually by IF, got to know one another over meals, and left refreshed.

Here is what Claire Vogt, a first time-attendee, had to say about her experience, “I had never heard of IF before and didn’t know what to expect or really what it was all about. I registered and went alone, which isn’t really like me, but I was desperately seeking connection with other women who were also seeking more relationship, more connection, more truth…in short – more Jesus. I was blown away! It was a powerful experience. I remember coming home and needing to take a walk to digest all I had heard and experienced. I made connections with other women that have lasted and now count as friends. It is a beautiful thing to worship together, listen to amazing speakers, and then have meaningful breakout sessions. There was so much laughter, some joy-filled tears, and lots of wisdom shared as women of all ages and life stages attended. I can’t wait for this year’s conference and I hope this will continue to grow and spread throughout our community!”
