In 2024, the Kernersville Chamber is proud to present a diverse array of events designed to unite our vibrant town and showcase the best of what Kernersville has to offer. From lively festivals to engaging lunch and learns, our calendar is brimming with opportunities for chamber members and the community to connect, learn, and make lasting connections together.

Lunch with Leaders
Lunch with Leaders, organized by the Kernersville Chamber’s Governmental Affairs Committee, provides opportunities to hear about local, regional, and state updates and plans. Our first Lunch with Leaders is Tuesday, March 5, where we will hear from Pat Ivey, NCDOT, about Roads and Plans. Other Lunch with Leaders 2024 dates are Tuesday, May 14 and Tuesday, September 10.

Wellness and Career Showcase
Wellness and Career Showcase will be held on March 12, from 9:30am-1:30pm, at the Kernersville Family YMCA at 1113 West Mountain Street. This is a dynamic event that aims to bridge the gap between well-being and professional growth. There will be vendors including health screenings, networking, vendor opportunities, and professional growth opportunities. Food and coffee trucks will be on hand for purchase of food and beverages.

Business Social Events
This monthly event is hosted by different businesses in the area that are members of the Kernersville Chamber. The first Business Social Event of 2024 will be held at Cone Health MedCenter Kernersville, 1635 NC 66 South, for a Business After Hours at 5pm on Tuesday, March 19. As mentioned, this is monthly and can be found on our website event list or our FB events page.

Recycle Day
Recycle Day takes place in April each year at our Town Hall/Chamber parking lot. Local area residents can drop off items that need to be recycled, including: a shredding service, electronics disposal, metal, batteries, plastics and cardboard as well as prescription pills to recycle. This year’s Recycle Day is Saturday, April 13 from 8am to 11pm. There is no cost for this event.

Local Threads and Tea Party
The Kernersville Chamber’s Women in Business Committee is hosting a Local Threads and Tea Party on April 20 at the beautiful Gibson House Inn of Kernersville. Join us for an afternoon of sipping tea, indulging in fashion, and celebrating the creativity of our local designers and boutiques. Discover the latest trends, mingle with fellow fashion lovers, and maybe even find your next favorite wardrobe piece! Tickets will be available for purchase at a later date or on our Facebook events page.

Young Professionals of Kernersville
The active and vibrate group hosts monthly events throughout the year to further professional development, community outreach, social networking, personal growth and charities. Our next event will be Handshakes and Headshots on April 24 at the Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden. Be on the lookout for other events including, Back to School drive for Bright Beginnings with the YMCA, Canvas and Conversations, Halloween Social, and so much more. Kernersville Spring Folly
The Kernersville Spring Folly is a large event that attracts approximately 30,000 visitors from all over. This year’s Spring Folly will begin on Friday, May 3 from 6pm to 10pm, continue on Saturday, May 4 from 10am to 8pm, and end on Sunday, May 5 from 1pm to 6pm. Brick Ceremony
Celebrate someone in your life with their own personalized brick. Memorialize a loved one, honor someone special, remember a veteran, or even footprint your business. These bricks are timeless and help the Downtown Committee create a healthy economic climate and preserve our historic heritage. The event will be held on Saturday, June 8 at 10am, at Town Hall. Deadline to order bricks is Friday, May 12.

Women in Business Conference
The Kernersville Chamber’s, Women in Business Committee will host their 4th Annual Women’s Conference. This event is a perfect opportunity to provide professional women in our community with the tools they need to feel empowered and to succeed. The all-day conference will be held in June of 2024. Music at Twilight
This is a summer concert series held monthly June-August, on the last Thursday of the month at Paul J. Ciener Botanical Garden. We will hear from local Kernersville artist Alex Ottaway, Chuck Dale Smith, and Ikey Moser. The event is open to the community with a reach of an average of 200 guests. Beer, food, and wine are available for purchase. Additional information can be found on our website or Facebook events page.

Chamber Golf Tournament
The Annual Chamber Golf Tournament will be held at beautiful Pine Knolls Golf Club on August 19. There are 30 teams that will play at 7:30am and 30 teams play at 1pm for this Captains Choice Tournament. Lots of fun, networking, and the option to play or volunteer makes this one you do not want to miss.
