This is not just a tournament, it is an opportunity to make memories, business deals, and friends, while on the golf course.  I personally have found it to be an experience that requires my full concentration.  Not only that, but it gives me an excuse to totally enjoy the outdoors and get active.  After playing 10 times in my life, I continue to meet someone new each time and my score is decreasing, which I learned is a good thing.

Along the way I have met a doctor, a friend, an investor, and a business owner.  Looking back, I had no idea that golf would fill my life with such great people.  But I have learned that it is not just golf, it is networking, building relationships, and great exercise for both my body and mind.

Even if you do not golf, there is always an opportunity to participate in the tournament.  You can either watch a hole, support the golfers, organize goodie cups, assist with each set-up, registration, lunch, be a hole-in-one spotter, or help with clean up.  If you would like to come out and enjoy a day of fun volunteering at the tournament, please contact Debbi Butner at 336-816-0576 or email her at debbi@shepctrkville.com.  We need volunteers throughout the day starting at 6:45a.m. – 6:30p.m.  You can work a couple of hours, half a day, or all day if you wish.

The Kernersville Chamber of Commerce gives back to our community with the tournament through Spring Folly, Recycle Day, Triad Job Fair, Healthy Active Adults Day, networking events and seminars.

Coordinating a golf tournament takes everyone in town. Volunteers and businesses come together to make the day a success and fun for everyone involved.  Close to fifty local businesses participate in supporting the golf tournament and I want to extend a big thank you to each one.  Thank you for supporting this event and our community, and thank you to all who sign up to play and take part in the days’ activities.

Everyone loves support.  If you would like to support the players, feel free to come out to cheer for the golfers.  The tournament will take place at our local community golf course, Pine Knolls Golf Club located at 1100 Quail Hollow Road.  It is a beautiful course in a great golfing community.
