Bayley Robinson is currently a senior at East Forsyth High School.  She has played volleyball since fifth grade and has also participated in her high school’s volleyball team all four years.  “My passion for volleyball started when I was in fifth grade at my private school in Illinois.  We had intramural volleyball and once I started playing I just fell in love with the sport,” Bayley commented.  Bayley made the junior varsity volleyball team her freshman year, but made varsity the remaining three years.  In addition to volleyball, she swam competitively for seven years and was a member of East Forsyth’s swim team her freshman year.  She was awarded M.V.P. both for swimming and volleyball her freshman year, and M.V.P. for volleyball her senior year.  She also earned her position on the volleyball 2014 All-Conference Team. Bayley used to participate in travel volleyball, which follows after the high school volleyball season, and she was involved in it for four years. However, she chose not to join this year as she would rather continue playing volleyball as a club sport in college.

Bayley plans on attending Western Carolina University in the fall of 2015 with hopes of double majoring in International Business and Spanish to become a translator. Her favorite subjects are Spanish and science, and her most influential teachers have been Mrs. Valdez (Spanish) and Mr. Jasso (Anatomy & Physiology). Upon entering college, she would like to balance academics with club volleyball, while maintaining a social life and taking on new challenges she has never experienced before.
