Plan now to join us April 4 for the 3rd annual Magnolias and Mimosas event sponsored by Truliant Federal Credit Union. This fashion event showcases inspirational local women in the Kernersville community while also promoting local boutiques, restaurants, businesses and more. 

Magnolias and Mimosas originated with the idea of highlighting the amazing women in our community: this would include small business owners, local female law enforcement officers, women who have made an impact; you name it. The women that are asked to serve as a model come from various backgrounds and sign up for a day full of fashioning outfits from local boutiques and getting to inspire those who come to the event. 

At the event you can expect a day full of “you.” A photobooth will be set up for pictures by Phocused by Darryl, servers are available to help guide you to your seat, swag bags are full of community partner items and goodies for the attendants to take home and plenty of food and mimosas to go around.

The fashion show features local boutiques that provide in-season outfits for the models; complete with accessories, bags and more. The intent of the fashion show is to showcase the boutiques and let the attendants know what is available right here in the Kernersville community. 

We would love to have you at our ticket drop event at The Prescott (126 South Main Street) on February 20 from 4pm to 7pm to get your ticket to the event early! We will have both VIP and Regular section tickets available at that time, and the Kernersville Chamber of Commerce’s Women in Business Committee would love to meet you to tell you more about the event.
