Get Fit and Stay Active with Kernersville Parks and Recreation

PRsept14by Heather Wood

For many Americans, Labor Day marks the end of the summer, a day off from work and school, and one last chance to relax.  Whether you choose to visit a local park, have a family barbeque or relax by the pool, finding ways to relax should be enjoyable.

This month Kernersville Parks and Recreation will wrap up our Movies in the Park Series on Friday, September 19 at Harmon Park, with our feature presentation being “Racing Stripes.”  Bring the family, neighbors, lawn chairs, and a picnic and enjoy watching a movie under the stars.  There will be fun movie games to play before the movie starts so arrive early.  Giadas Mobile Brick Oven Pizza, Kona Ice and the Patriot Pretzel will return to offer tasty treats for everyone to enjoy.  Our summer series has continued to grow with the support of our community and this free family event has been a staple for many families throughout the summer.  Thank you to our September movie sponsors Wolfe & Associates and Vestal GMC of Kernersville.
