Music at Twilight is Almost Here!

By Molly Smith

The weather is getting warmer, and the Paul J Ciener Botanical Garden is about to be in full bloom! The annual Kernersville Chamber of Commerce Music at Twilight presented by Arbor Ridge at Kernersville and Kerner Ridge Assisted Living will begin on May 20th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.!

The entire community is invited to join us on the lawn of the Garden and listen to a live band complete with food vendors, beer and wine for sale, and potentially some sweet treats! The music has been hand selected by a group of dedicated volunteers wanting to make the experience one that the whole family can enjoy.

Spots are limited due to social distancing guidelines and the space limits as permitted by the Garden.  We appreciate the understanding from the community as we navigate new ways to keep everybody safe. The best way to ensure your spot is to show up early!

To complete this experience, we recommend bringing a lawn chair and blanket for each person attending, leaving your pets at home and money for dinner. There will be a variety of food options for dinner as well as beer and wine for sale.

Jackie Mullis, an employee of the Chamber, says, “It is always fun to see the kids having fun out on the lawn while parents can enjoy the music with their family.” There are shaded areas in the garden to allow for comfort in the summer heat and the sponsors of this event are set up on the patio to table and connect with the community.

Andrew Oliver, a new Chamber employee who has never experienced the live concert series is most excited for the opportunity to listen to live music once again at an amazing venue.

Plan to spend two hours on the third Thursday of the month from May through August for dinner, music, and the chance to meet the sponsors of Music at Twilight!
